Founder and Executive Director of Hero's Puppy for Life Organization. Frank Griggs served over eight years in the United States Marine Corps. He was Honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in 1976 and is a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal. Over twenty-eight years, he was in the Securities and insurance industries with fifteen of those years training both Registered Representative candidates and Insurance professionals. He retired in 2009 from Liberty Mutual. Having suffered a trauma in Vietnam, Frank lived many years with Post-Traumatic Stress. It was much later in his life when he came to acknowledgment of his PTSD. With a burning desire to help others who suffered from the service to our country and communities, in 2015 Frank created the concept of Veteran’s Puppy for Life Organization, now known as Hero’s Puppy for Life Organization. Frank was the motivating person in creating a unique service dog program for U.S. Armed Forces Veterans and now Emergency First Responders living with PTSD. Professional credentials: Certified Advanced Canine Training Professional ,and Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist.
